How to play:
The goal of Whac-A-Word is to listen to song lyrics and choose or type the missing words.
Listen to the music video. As it plays, click the buttons at the bottom to choose the answer for the current lyric. THE SONG DOESN'T STOP, SO YOU NEED TO ANSWER FAST!
Get points for correct answers, and boost your score with answer streaks. Use your powers to help you.
The game is over when the song finishes (or after the last round). Try to get the highest score you can.

Powers:
You can choose two powers before the start of the game. There are many different types of powers. Some powers help you understand the lyrics better, while others will help you get a higher score.
Click on the "info" icon next to each power to see what it does.
Certain combinations of powers are very powerful. For example, the "Critical Strike" power combined with the "Turbocharge" power gives you a 800% bonus multiplier on your next answer. Play around with different combinations and find your favorite!

Tips:
Streaks of correct answers are very important. The longer your streak is, the more points you will get. Look at the streak counter at the top of the screen. Try to get the longest streak you can can.
You can customize many game settings, including speed, question type, lyrics played, rounds, and more. Press the "More Settings" button to see all these advanced options.
After you finish the game, you can check your answers and look up any lyrics or words you didn't understand.
