Watch the tutorial video, or read on for more instructions and tips:
How to play:
As the music video plays, students have to quickly choose the answer for the current lyric.
Students earn points for correct answers, and boost their score with answer streaks. The highest score wins!
Students can choose special game powers. Some powers help students understand the lyrics better, while others boost their score. There are even powers to let them attack each other :)
The game is over when the song finishes. You can see detailed student results and score reports (Pro Teacher only).

Powers:
Students can choose two powers before the start of the game. There are many different types of powers. Some powers help students understand the lyrics better, while others will help them get a higher score. Students can even use powers to attack each other!
Click on the "info" icon next to each power to see what it does.
Certain combinations of powers are very powerful. For example, the "Critical Strike" power combined with the "Turbocharge" power gives you a 800% bonus multiplier on your next answer. Let students play around with different combinations and find their favorite!
Teachers also have the option to disable powers (Pro Teacher only).
Tips:
Video controls allow you to pause, replay, loop, rewind to the previous lyric, and fast forward to the next lyric. You also also use the default Youtube Player controls.
To see the full list of student powers, teachers can click on the "superpower" icon in the top right of the game lobby.
Students can join late after the start of the game.
If you want to finish the game early, press the "Finish Early" button in the top left of the screen.
Streaks of correct answers are very important. The longer the player streak is, the more points they will get. Players should try to get the longest streak you can can.
You can customize many game settings, including speed, question type, random nicknames, and more.
